About Grow RPG

Grow RPG wraps the Grow formula in a tiny role-playing game. A hero sets out from a village, and the items you place on the world, such as a castle, a sword, a forest and a dragon, become the places the hero visits and the things that make them stronger. The order matters because each item levels up every turn and the hero needs to be strong enough for each encounter in sequence.

The perfect run ends with the hero defeating the final boss; a bad run ends with the hero flattened by something placed too early. It is the most story-driven game in the series.

How to Play Grow RPG

1. Click an item panel to place it on the world.
2. Watch the hero travel and level up as items grow.
3. Place all eight items and see how the adventure ends.
4. Reorder until the hero wins.

Controls

• Mouse: click item panels.
• Touch: tap.
• Reset: replay from the village.

Tips and Tricks

• The hero needs equipment before enemies, and enemies give the experience needed for the boss.
• The demon lord's item should be late, but not last, or it never reaches full strength either.
• Watch the hero's level after each placement; if it stops rising, something is blocking the path.
• The perfect order is unique, but a good partial order still gives a fun ending.

Can the hero lose?

Yes. Placing a monster before the hero is strong enough ends the run badly, which is half the fun.

How long is a round?

About a minute of animation once all items are placed.

Is there a walkthrough?

The result screen shows each item's level, which is enough to work out what to move.
