Crafting

Eaglercraft is Minecraft in a browser tab: a JavaScript port of the classic Java edition with survival and creative worlds saved on your device.

About Eaglercraft

Eaglercraft is a port of an older Java version of Minecraft to the browser. It runs entirely in your tab: no launcher, no account, no Java. You get the familiar block world, survival mode with mining and crafting, creative mode with unlimited blocks, and worlds that are saved in the browser's storage so you can return to them.

It is heavier than the other games here because it is a full 3D engine. Give it a moment to load, and expect it to prefer a laptop or desktop with a keyboard and mouse.

How to Play Eaglercraft

  1. Create a new world and choose survival or creative.
  2. Move with WASD, look with the mouse, break and place blocks with the mouse buttons.
  3. Open your inventory to craft tools and build.
  4. Worlds save automatically in the browser.

Controls

  • WASD: move. Space: jump. Shift: sneak.
  • Mouse: look around. Left button: break. Right button: place or use.
  • E: inventory. Esc: menu.

Tips and Tricks

  • Punch a tree first, make a crafting table, then a wooden pickaxe. Same as always.
  • Lower the render distance in the options if the frame rate drops.
  • Clearing browser data deletes your worlds, so export a world if you care about it.
  • Fullscreen from the button under the player makes mouse look far more comfortable.
