About Clicker Heroes

Clicker Heroes takes idle progression and dresses it as a fantasy adventure. Monsters appear one at a time; click to damage them, collect gold, and hire heroes who deal damage automatically. Each zone is ten monsters, every fifth zone has a boss with a timer, and the numbers grow into the exponents quickly. Ancients, relics and ascension provide the long-term strategy.

It is the idle game for people who want a little more to think about than a cookie: which hero to level, when to fight a boss, when to ascend.

How to Play Clicker Heroes

1. Click the monster to damage it and collect gold.
2. Hire and level heroes from the list; they attack on their own.
3. Buy hero upgrades when they appear for big multipliers.
4. Beat the boss every fifth zone to progress.

Controls

• Mouse: click monsters and the hero list.
• Touch: tap.
• Keyboard shortcuts: Q, W, E, R, T, Y for hero buy amounts in some versions.

Tips and Tricks

• Level the newest hero you can afford; each new hero outdamages all the older ones.
• Upgrades that multiply all damage are the best value in the game.
• If a boss timer runs out, farm the previous zone for a few minutes, then retry.
• Ascend once progress stalls. Hero souls make the next run much faster.
